Genesis10 is currently seeking an Enterprise Architect for a contract to hire opportunity with a Major Financial Services Firm. This is a hybrid position requiring candidates to live within a commutable distance to one of the following cities: Atlanta, GA; Dallas, TX; Detroit, MI; Houston, TX; or Phoenix, AZ.

The Enterprise Architect is a strategic technology leader accountable for defining the enterprise architecture vision, target-state design, and governance for a captive auto finance business. This role aligns technology strategy with business priorities and drives modernization and AI-enabled innovation to improve customer experience, reduce cost-to-serve, accelerate delivery, and strengthen risk and compliance outcomes. As a senior advisor to executives, the Enterprise Architect partners with product, engineering, security, data, operations, and program teams to ensure platforms and solutions are scalable, secure, resilient, and efficient.

Responsibilities:

• Design and govern enterprise deployment of Agentic AI workflows, LLMs, and autonomous solutions for use cases such as credit decisioning, document verification, and fraud detection
• Establish architectural patterns for GenAI and agentic capabilities, including conversational copilots, tool-using agents, RAG, prompt/agent design, and evaluation frameworks
• Design and implement AI guardrails ensuring privacy-by-design, safety filters, auditability, and policy-aligned responses
• Provide strategic guidance on emerging technologies (AI/ML, IoT, blockchain) and assess their potential business value and applicability
• Architect end-to-end capabilities across the captive lending lifecycle, including origination, servicing, collections, recoveries, and lease maturity processes
• Drive platform modernization and ecosystem integration through flexible, scalable architectures and partner-ready integration patterns
• Evaluate and select enterprise technologies, identify system gaps and risks, and ensure alignment with security, compliance, and performance standards
• Lead enterprise architecture governance, mentor technical teams, and partner with business and IT leaders to translate business needs into actionable architectural strategies

Requirements:

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field
• Minimum of 10 years in technology roles with progressive scope across architecture, engineering, and platform delivery
• Minimum of 5 years in enterprise and/or domain architecture leadership, including roadmap development and governance
• Deep expertise in LLMs, RAG architectures, vector search, evaluation methods, and AI guardrail design
• Advanced knowledge of agentic AI patterns, including tool use, workflow orchestration, human-in-the-loop models, and escalation frameworks
• Strong grounding in core data architecture principles such as governance, lineage, data quality, domain modeling, and analytics enablement
• Robust knowledge of major cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, Google Cloud) and microservices-based architectures
• Experience with enterprise architecture frameworks (e.g., TOGAF, Zachman, FEAF) to guide strategic technology decisions
• Deep knowledge of software architecture, design patterns, and modern development methodologies
• Strong analytical skills to evaluate complex challenges and develop effective, scalable solutions
• Must live within a commutable distance to one of the specified cities: Atlanta, GA; Dallas, TX; Detroit, MI; Houston, TX; Phoenix, AZ

Desired Skills:

• Strong knowledge of modern integration patterns and industry best practices
• Familiarity with contemporary front-end frameworks (e.g., React, Angular) and mobile application development principles

Pay range: $89 - $99 per hour
