Warehouse Worker

Material HandlerWe are currently seeking a reliable and skilled Material Handler to join our warehouse team. Your primary responsibility will be to efficiently and safely handle the movement and storage of materials within the warehouse using a forklift. This position will require spending a significant portion of the workday in a refrigerated or freezer environment while performing various warehouse tasks.Responsibilities:Safely operate a forklift to load, unload, and move materials throughout the warehouse. This includes raw materials, finished products, and other supplies as needed.Spot, drop, and hook-up semi-trailers as part of the loading/unloading process.Assist in receiving, inspecting, and verifying incoming materials against purchase orders or packing lists. Accurately record material movements and maintain inventory control through proper documentation.Pick, pack, and prepare orders for shipment according to customer requirements. Ensure accuracy and attention to detail in order processing.Keep the warehouse clean, organized, and free from potential hazards. Maintain proper storage of materials to optimize space and facilitate efficient retrieval.Adhere to all safety protocols and guidelines while operating the forklift and performing warehouse tasks. Report any equipment malfunctions or safety hazards to the supervisor.Perform routine inspections of the forklift and other warehouse equipment.
