Mammography Technologist Mammography
The Mammography Technologist performs high-quality mammography examinations according to physician orders using advanced imaging equipment. This role requires strong technical knowledge, attention to detail, and patient-centered care to produce optimal diagnostic images while considering individual patient needs. This is a Full-Time Day Shift opportunity at Hood River Memorial Hospital.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform screening and diagnostic mammography procedures
- Utilize appropriate imaging factors and techniques for optimal image quality
- Ensure patient safety, comfort, and dignity throughout the procedure
- Operate sophisticated mammography equipment and maintain quality standards
- Maintain compliance with state, federal, and accreditation requirements
- Accurately document imaging procedures and patient information
- Collaborate with radiologists and healthcare team members
Required Qualifications
- Education meeting certification/licensure requirements
- Oregon Radiographer License (Upon Hire)
- BLS Certification American Heart Association (Upon Hire)
- ARRT Registered Technologist Radiography (R)(ARRT) Upon Hire
- ARRT Registered Technologist Mammography (M)(ARRT) within 6 months of hire
