Budget Analyst

Duties
Help
Establish local budget formulation schedules, call letters, and submission templates tailored to time-phased operational requirements, autonomous systems fielding cycles, operational deployment phases, alert postures and tactical field experiments.
Review submitted estimates for reasonableness, mission justification, operational validity, and compliance with statutory authorities, fiscal law, and Department of War/Defense financial regulations.
Establish, maintain, and enforce internal management control systems and funds subdivision controls to ensure strict compliance with the Anti-Deficiency Act (ADA) and related fiscal mandates across all DAWG autonomous programs.
Review and certify the availability and legal propriety of funds for purchase requests, commercial vendor contracts, rapid autonomous prototyping contracts, GPC thresholds, ISSAs, FOO funds, and operational travel authorizations.
Direct the development and administration of the Task Force Easy/DAWG Unfinanced Requirements (UFR) list.
Develop and analyze comprehensive status-of-funds reports, burn-rate analyses, and trend forecasts to identify variance between planned operational expenditures and actual execution.
