The Role We are looking for a talented and passionateSwimwear Designerto join our growing Design team. This role is ideal for a creative, highly organized designer who has a strong eye for trend, color, silhouette, fabrication, and detail—and who also understands the importance of commercial relevance and flawless execution. The Swimwear Designer will participate in the full design process, from trend research and concept development through CAD, tech packs, fittings, presentations, and final product assortment. You will collaborate closely with Design, Textile, Product Development, Technical Design, and 3D teams to bring compelling swimwear collections to life. This is a fast-paced, highly collaborative role for someone who loves product, understands the customer, thrives in a team environment, and can balance creativity with deadlines and business needs. Key Responsibilities Conduct ongoing market and trend research, identifying emerging and declining trends across color, silhouette, fabrication, print, trim, detail, and styling. Translate trend and market insights into fresh, commercially relevant design concepts appropriate for the specific guest/customer segment. Develop innovative design ideas that balance creativity, trend relevance, cost parameters, and business objectives. Create clear and detailed CADs that effectively communicate design intent, including silhouettes, construction details, trims, embellishments, textures, crochet patterns, and other design elements. Create accurate, detailed, and highly organized tech packs for each design. Understand the design and development calendar and take ownership of meeting all key milestones, handoffs, and deliverables. Attend fittings and partner closely with Technical Design to achieve the desired fit, proportion, and design expression while remaining mindful of costing and construction parameters. Partner with TextileArtistson click‑tells add [date ocashc. Collaborate with Product Development to research and source new and innovative fabrics, trims, techniques, and construction opportunities. Work collaboratively with the broader Design team to build cohesive, well-merchandised assortments that align with line architecture and overall creative direction. Contribute to larger creative initiatives including seasonal concepts, color direction, storytelling, key trends, and product opportunities. Partner with the team to develop compelling trend, concept, and CAD presentations, including image research and mood board creation. Work directly with 3D Artists to bring designs to life through visualization technology, ensuring the final representation accurately communicates fit, proportion, fabrication, and creative design intent. Create and maintain final product and assortment overviews. Communicate clearly, professionally, and proactively with Design leadership and cross-functional partners throughout the development process. Excellent CAD and technical design communication skills. Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines simultaneously.
