Position Overview Davco Roofing & Sheet Metal is seeking an experiencedSenior Estimatorto join the current team and drive accurate and competitive project pricing across varying segments of commercial roofing. This role plays a key part in our growth and requires someone who thrives in a fast-paced environment, takes ownership of their work, and collaborates effectively across teams. Key Responsibilities Join the estimating process for commercial roofing and sheet metal projects from bid through operational handoff Analyze drawings, specifications, and project documents to prepare accurate and competitive estimates Prepare change order requests as they arise throughout the life of awarded commercial roofing projects. Develop detailed takeoffs, budgets, and proposals Collaborate closely with operations, sales, and leadership Prepare and submit project submittal packages for awarded commercial roofing projects Prepare and submit material lists to purchasing once projects are awarded Prepare comprehensive project work orders for awarded projects to provide to operations Solicit, review, and level subcontractor and supplier pricing Identify risks, scope gaps, and value engineering opportunities Take full accountability for estimate accuracy and completeness Manage multiple bids with a strong sense of urgency and prioritization Build strong relationships with clients, vendors, and internal stakeholders Monitor job costs throughout the entirety of all estimated projects Participate in weekly estimating and operations update meetings Qualifications 5+ years of estimating experience in commercial roofing (preferably, but not required with experience estimating in The Edge) Strong knowledge of roofing systems, materials, and installation methods Proficiency in estimating and takeoff software Ability to read and interpret blueprints and specifications Strong analytical, organizational, and time-management skills Excellent communication and collaboration abilities Proven ability to handle multiple projects in a deadline-driven environment #J-18808-Ljbffr
