Night Shift Automation Maintenance Technician M1

Becton Dickinson seeks an experienced maintenance technician for night shift operations at their Sandy, Utah manufacturing facility. The role involves diagnosing and repairing production equipment across mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, and hydraulic systems to maintain high-volume output and minimize downtime.
Responsibilities
- Diagnose equipment failures and perform routine and emergency repairs on production equipment
- Complete preventive maintenance activities and document all maintenance work performed
- Support assigned production lines to improve equipment uptime and operational efficiency
- Replace defective machine components and coordinate fabrication of needed parts
- Mentor junior technicians and assist production personnel with equipment issues
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- 1+ years experience repairing industrial manufacturing or packaging equipment
- Previous maintenance technician or similar technical role in manufacturing
- Understanding of mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints and technical schematics
