Key Responsibilities\n

• Utilize mindfulness-based interventions, including structured MBSR techniques, to support clients in reducing stress and improving their mental health.

• Conduct comprehensive initial assessments to understand clients' unique stressors, challenges, and therapeutic goals, tailoring mindfulness practices to meet their needs.

• Guide clients through mindfulness exercises, meditation, and breathwork to foster self-awareness, promote emotional regulation, and cultivate a sense of calm.

• Facilitate engaging group workshops and mindfulness classes that focus on stress management techniques and resilience strategies, encouraging community and shared experiences.

• Incorporate mindfulness practices into one-on-one therapy sessions to address specific mental health issues while supporting clients' overall personal development.

• Collaborate effectively with fellow therapists and multidisciplinary team members to ensure a holistic approach to client care, integrating mindfulness within comprehensive treatment plans.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

Your work will focus on a diverse clientele, including individuals dealing with anxiety, depression, stress-related disorders, and life transitions. Qualifications\n

• A Master’s or doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution.

• A current and valid licensure as an LCSW-C, LCPC, LMFT, or LCMFT in the state of Maryland.

• Demonstrated proficiency in integrating mindfulness practices into therapeutic interventions.
