Clinical Research RN

A Clinical Research RN manages patient care in clinical trials, including screening participants, monitoring their health, and administering study treatments. They follow strict protocols based on Good Clinical Practice and ensure all data is accurately documented and compliant with U.S. Food and Drug Administration regulations. They also educate patients, obtain informed consent, and collaborate with research teams to support safe and ethical studies.

Job Description:

• $4,000 sign on bonus for ONS (Oncology Nursing Society) Certified Nurses & OCN (Oncology Certified Nurse)
• Both out of state and/or in state qualify
• Not available for internal hires
• The ONS Certification needs to be obtained prior to signing offer letter.

Minimum Education and Requirements: Bachelor of Nursing degree preferred. RN staff hired on or after July 1, 2013 with an Associate or Diploma degree in nursing are required to be enrolled in an accredited BSN program within two years and successfully obtain a BSN degree within four years of the RN hire or reclassification date. Refer to policy A141 for more details. A minimum of one year of work experience as a registered nurse required. Licensure as a registered nurse by the South Carolina Board of Nursing or a compact state. Current American Heart Association (AHA) Basic Life Support (BLS) certification or American Red Cross BLS for Healthcare Providers certification is required.

Ability to maintain 20/40 vision, corrected, in one eye or with both eyes. (Continuous) Ability to see and recognize objects close at hand or at a distance.
