Tax Supervisor

Summary: This role has responsibility across both ASC 740 tax provision and tax compliance, with a stronger emphasis on technical ASC 740 concepts and financial reporting disclosure. We are looking for someone who can manage engagements with minimal oversight. Key Tasks: * Prepare and review ASC-740 tax provisions* Analyzing and documenting temporary vs. permanent differences * Preparing and reviewing federal, multi-state, and consolidated tax filings across complex, multi-entity structures, including 1120, 1`065, and select 1040's * Handling foreign reporting components * Supporting international calculations including GILTI and foreign considerations * Identifying and implementing tax adjustments and planning opportunities * Assisting with pre-audit support, reconciliations, and workpaper preparationRequirements* Bachelor's degree in Accounting* CPA or EA ,5+ years of public accounting tax experience including ASC 740 exposure * Client should include public companies, SPACs, or venture-backed organizations * Demonstrated ability to research, analyze, and document tax positions * Advanced proficiency in Excel, including preparation and review of provision workpapers * Experience with CCH Axcess or similar tax software Experience and CCH Engagement Essentials or similar interface * Microsoft Excel, Word, QuickBooks, and AI Platforms * Outstanding project management, time management, and analytical skills * Strong attention to detail and able to multi-task as neededJob TypeDirect HireCompensation100300 - $135700
