This intern will gain real-world experience in modeling and planning for water and wastewater systems while working in a fast-paced, professional setting. Join our group of professionalswhoare working with communities across Garver’s footprint and are developing solutions for their water and wastewater needs. Internship Description Work alongside and be mentored by experienced water professionals and industry leaders. Gain real-world environmental and civil engineering experience through assisting with a wide array of water and wastewater projects. Receive training from our experienced water staff and project managers. Gain experience in the competitive consulting engineering industry. Visit some of Garver’s Water project sites. Requirements Candidates must be pursuing a civil or environmental engineering bachelor’s degree in an ABET accredited program. Strong written and verbal communication skills. Proficient in Microsoft Office. Interest in designing water and wastewater infrastructure. Preferred skills Experience with ArcGIS. Experience with Fluid Mechanics, Water Resources, and/or Open Channel Hydraulics. Work Environment This is an in-office position; duties and responsibilities are generally performed in an office setting.
