Speech Therapist - WDMESC ECH

Position Summary

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) to join our PreK program. The SLP will provide direct speech and language services to preschool-aged children and conduct evaluations as part of the early childhood special education team. This role allows you to focus on what you do best-supporting children's communication development-without being burdened by due process paperwork.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

• Provide individual and small-group speech and language therapy services to PreK students.
• Conduct speech-language evaluations and contribute to eligibility determinations.
• Collaborate with teachers, paraprofessionals, and families to support communication development.
• Maintain accurate therapy and evaluation records.
• Participate in team meetings and professional development as required.

Qualifications

• Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program.
• Current Arkansas SLP license and ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) or CFY supervision eligibility.
• Experience with early childhood populations preferred.
• Strong communication, organization, and collaboration skills.
• Commitment to fostering positive learning experiences for young children.
