ROOFING ESTIMATOR

Job Overview Roofing Estimator. Location & Compensation Central Mid-Atlantic Salary: $110k – $170k+ Job Description The Roofing Estimator procures projects and hands off the jobs to ensure profitable completion of each project. Responsibilities Review the market and identify jobs to bid. Commercial new construction and renovation; all types of roofing. Compile a takeoff from plans and specs for labor, materials, equipment, etc. Find manufacturers and subcontractors as part of assembling pricing. Put together a proposal for owner/contractor/developer clients. Hand off work to the project management team and communicate with field managers so they can take ownership of the project. Some project management required. Help create the material orders. Work Environment We are currently physically work in place; no remote is available for this position. Job Requirements Experience in commercial roofing estimating. Knowledge of all roofing types and comfortable with reroof & new construction. Ability to work on basic computer skills. Communication skills. Good work ethic. Relationships with clients in the central Mid-Atlantic region is a plus, not a requirement.
