Payroll Specialist

We’re seeking an experienced Payroll Specialist for a temp-to-hire opportunity in San Dimas. This position will support day-to-day payroll processing and is a good fit for someone with strong payroll knowledge, reconciliation experience, and advanced Excel skills. Responsibilities: Support bi-weekly payroll processing and maintain accurate payroll records Review payroll data and reports for accuracy and resolve discrepancies Perform payroll reconciliations and validate information before processing Prepare payroll-related journal entries and supporting documentation Review timekeeping information and payroll-related data Process payroll adjustments and manual checks as needed Assist with garnishments and other payroll deductions Support payroll tax reporting and related compliance requirements Assist with quarterly and year-end payroll activities Review W-2 information and wage reconciliations Help ensure payroll transactions are completed accurately and on schedule Requirements: 3+ years of hands-on payroll processing experience Experience reviewing and reconciling payroll reports Knowledge of federal and state payroll and wage regulations Experience with payroll taxes, garnishments, W-2s, and payroll journal entries Strong accounting and reconciliation skills Advanced Excel skills, including VLOOKUPs and PivotTables Strong attention to detail and ability to handle confidential information Experience working with payroll or HRIS systems This is a hands‑on payroll opportunity for someone who is comfortable working across payroll processing, reconciliations, reporting, and compliance. #J-18808-Ljbffr Advantex Professional Services
