Job Description

The Preconstruction Manager' s Responsibilities:

• Develop accurate, competitive estimates for commercial construction projects from initial concept through negotiated contract.
• Dive into drawings, specifications, and project documents to build detailed scopes and identify project opportunities.
• Drive preconstruction strategy through budgeting, value engineering, bid preparation, and cost analysis.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, consultants, subcontractors, and trade partners across the Nevada market.
• Help identify and pursue high-value project opportunities, using market knowledge and relationships to fuel continued growth.
• Partner closely with operations and executive leadership to ensure a seamless transition from preconstruction to construction.
• Play an active role in business development, representing the company at client meetings, industry events, and networking opportunities.

The Successful Applicant

The Successful Preconstruction manager will have:

• Bring 5+ years of commercial GC preconstruction experience with a strong command of estimating, construction methods, and the local subcontractor market.
• Leverage established Nevada industry relationships to build partnerships and uncover new opportunities.
• Thrive in a hybrid estimating and business development role, balancing technical expertise with client-facing responsibilities.
• Bring strong communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills to every project and partnership.
• Be a driven self-starter who thrives in a fast-paced, relationship-focused environment and takes ownership from day one.
