Sfoglina is inspired by the female pasta makers of Italy—today it’s cultural icons--who carried on the tradition and the art of making pasta by hand. This craft is showcased daily in our pasta rooms. Sfoglina serves light and seasonal salads, appetizers, shareable meat and seafood entrees, and authentic, family-favorite Italian desserts. Our charming venues feature a whimsical design and timeless Italian cocktails, approachable Italian wines, and comfy patios for al fresco dining.

• Actively participates in all training programs and consistently meets training expectations.
• Maintains constant communication with team members while on duty.
• Consistently provides guests with a warm welcome.
• Anticipates and accommodates guest needs throughout service.
• Notes and communicates guest preferences, special requests and arrangements for special occasions, such as birthdays and anniversaries.
• Attends to basic guest inquiries including general restaurant information, directions, lost credit cards, receipt requests, large party reservations, and gift card requests.
• Consistently provides guests with a fond farewell.
• Conducts daily inspections of the Host-stand.
• Maintains cleanliness and organization at the restaurant entrance and Host-stand.
• Ensures tables are laid out and set-up according to daily floor plans.
• Monitors guest waiting times and checks in on waiting guests.
• Seats guests in the dining room.
• Communicates guest preferences, and table-specific details to relevant team members.
• Monitors tables and marking dining statuses on Tock.
• Updates guest notes and preferences.
• Handles any guest requests or complaints within reason or referring guests to Managers on duty if and when necessary.
• Facilitates guest car-services and coat-services when necessary.
• Conducts all required Opening, Side-Work, Hand-Over and Closing Duties as outlined by Fabio Trabocchi Restaurants and management.
• Consistently maintains Grooming Standards.
• Maintains Restaurant knowledge and information, including menu, staff, management team, private events, and open house.
• Is always pro-active and identifies potential problems before they arise.
• “Owns” problems when they arise and takes responsibility by finding solutions.
• Performs additional tasks at the direction of management. 

Benefits Offered:

• Fabio Trabocchi Restaurants offers full-time employees company subsidized health insurance. A full-time employee must work on average 30 hours per week to qualify for health insurance benefits. Coverage begins on the first of the month after the 60th day of employment. The insurance enrollment period is between 30 and 90 days of employment.

Qualifications:

• Excellent guest service skills
• Willingness to learn and grow
• Professional appearance and grooming standards appropriate for a premier fine dining restaurant
• Previous experience with Italian or Spanish restaurants a plus
• Full and part time positions available
