It's why we come to work - and it's what motivates us, every day, to do the best work we can.Purpose of PositionThe Quality Supervisor, as driver of execution and best practice, is responsible for leading the Quality Engineering team, ensuring that Quality is systematically, proactively, and collaboratively embedded into the Value Streams, whilst delivering against Quality initiatives and projects. They develop and lead a high performing team, that delivers certainty into production through maintained workmanship standards and sustained feedback and training. Scrap, MRB, non-conformance, and in-process correction is monitored. Trends are reported. Problem areas are targeted and appropriate action is taken to ensure production goals are met. Risk to customer, product, schedule, or supply chain are escalated into Quality and Operations leadership. Customer complaints, corrective actions, improvement opportunities, and complex problem solving activities are lead.
