CT Tech Available shifts: • Nights (Wednesday, Friday, Saturday 7p-7a) Oviedo Medical Center is a 64-bed acute care hospital. We serve east Seminole County and surrounding communities. We offer a full range of healthcare services. Our services include surgical inpatient units and intensive care. We deliver 24/7 emergency care. Our hospital offers medical cardiology and telemetry. We provide inpatient and outpatient surgery, and women's services including labor and delivery. Our hospital offers comprehensive diagnostic imaging. We also offer cardiopulmonary services and cardiac catheterization. We are committed to providing patient-centered care. Job Summary and Qualifications Performs those duties directly involved with a variety of technical procedures applying computerized ionizing radiation for the purpose of detecting pathology. Operates the CT equipment safely and maintains A.L.A.R.A. standards while performing all types of procedures. Is current in Radiologic (X-ray) positioning and can perform X-rays in ER and department when asked. Participates in the establishment of scan protocols and in execution of specific applications, and responsible for contrast administration. Establishes and maintains a good rapport and professional relationship with fellow employees, other departments and medical staff. Position requires Call. What qualifications you will need: • One year of CT experience preferred. Candidates DO NOT need to have acute care experience. • Registered Radiographer (ARRT) (R) required; (CT) preferred • State Registered Radiologic Technologist • Vocational School Graduate • Basic Cardiac Life Support, or BCLS Instructor must be obtained within 30 days of employment start date Benefits Oviedo Medical Center, offers a total rewards package that supports the health, life, career and retirement of our colleagues.
