Registered Nurse (RN) | Long Term Care

Location: Avera Brady Health and Rehab Worker Type: Regular Work Shift: Night Shift (United States of America) Pay Range: $32.50 - $48.50 (Actual pay rate dependent upon experience) Position Highlights May be eligible for $10,000.00 sign‑on bonus. 6:00pm-6:30am; 72hrs/2wks shift timing. $3 shift differential for hours worked between 7pm and 7am, $2 on weekends, and $5 on weekend nights. Student Loan Repayment Position may be eligible for Avera’s Student Loan Repayment Program, which helps pay off loans. Each month an extra payment of $167 (up to $10,000) will be made to reduce the principal balance. A Brief Overview Delivers nursing care by developing nursing diagnoses; establishing nursing care objectives; defining nursing interventions; providing physical, emotional, psychological, and spiritual support to residents, families, and friends to understand residents’ conditions, medications, and self‑care skills; noting changing conditions and needs; re‑evaluating care objectives. What you will do Provide resident care by reviewing physician prescriptions and supporting the nursing care plan. Communicate relevant information to healthcare team and coordinate with other providers. Develop nursing care plans through medical history review, resident examinations, and documentation. Teach residents and families about conditions, medications, and self‑care. Evaluate resident care outcomes against standards and modify care plans accordingly. Maintain a safe, secure, and health‑promoting environment following infection‑control policies, medication administration and storage procedures, controlled‑substance regulations, and legal requirements. Keep resident care equipment operational and supplies stocked; troubleshoot and order as needed. Coordinate admissions, discharges, and transfers to and from the facility. Lead and plan workflow of nursing assistants and other nursing personnel. Maintain competence in nursing capabilities as outlined by leadership. Essential Qualifications Registered Nurse (RN) with an active state license. Ability to perform essential job functions with visual acuity, communication, hearing, and speech comprehension as required. 1–3 years of experience in a clinical or long‑term care environment (Preferred). Physical and mental ability to work the specified night shift hours.
