Registered Nurse - Cancer Center - Days

Hourly Pay Range: $36.00 - $55.80 - The hourly pay rate offered is determined by a candidate's expertise and years of experience, among other factors. Position Highlights:

• Position: Registered Nurse, Oncology
• Location: Evanston Hospital - Kellogg Evanston Cancer Center
• Full Time | 40 hours/week
• Hours: shifts will vary Monday - Friday: 4 days - 10 hour shifts from 7:30am

- 6pm, no weekends or holidays. Summary: * The Staff Nurse will deliver safe and compassionate nursing care for all patient populations by planning, implementing, and evaluating the patient plan of care. * The Staff Nurse will collaborates with nurses, physicians, and other members of the clinical team to ensure optimal patient outcomes and continuity of care. What you will do: * Independently provide safe, effective, and compassionate nursing care for a patient population on a specific unit * Utilize the nursing process in planning, implementing, and evaluating the patient plan of care * Guide and direct assigned unlicensed assistive personnel in delivering interdisciplinary patient care * Communicate and collaborate with members of the healthcare team to ensure optimal patient outcomes and continuity of care * Positively contributing to safety outcomes and promoting high quality patient experience What you will need:

• Licensure: Current State of Illinois Registered Nurse licensure, required.
• Education: Associate's in Nursing, required. Bachelor's in Nursing, strongly

preferred * Certification: Current CPR Certification issued by either American Heart Association, required. OCN/ONS provider card preferred. * Experience: Minimum of 1 year of Oncology Outpatient Infusion Center experience required; If no oncology experience, ED, ICU, PACU experience highly preferred.
