Pay & Benefits:

• Hourly Rate: $195.00/hour

What You’ll Do:

• Provide OB hospitalist coverage including deliveries, OB triage, and gyn emergencies.
• Manage unassigned gynecologic emergencies and perform hospital deliveries (average 1-4 per shift).
• Collaborate with hospital staff and MFM specialists when needed.
• Maintain patient safety and deliver high-quality obstetric care.
• Document patient encounters accurately in the EMR system.
• Participate in emergency response and obstetric procedures as required.

What You Need:

• Valid Iowa medical license with OB/GYN or Family Medicine with OB certification
• 2+ years of obstetric hospitalist experience preferred
• Strong clinical skills in OB triage, deliveries, and gynecology emergencies
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced hospital setting

About the Assignment:
This assignment takes place at a leading hospital in Waverly, Iowa, with approximately 200 annual deliveries and an emphasis on providing excellent obstetric care. The hospitalist will join a dedicated team managing OB cases, deliveries, and gynecologic emergencies, ensuring seamless patient care.
