MSK is dedicated to training the next generation of scientists and clinicians, who go on to pursue our mission at MSK and around the globe.We are currently seeking an experienced Lab Technologist II for our Hematology Laboratory.Role Overview: Perform technical duties in laboratory sections, with minimal supervision, as assigned.Maintain complete, accurate, legible, neat, organized, and up-to-date records/logs/files.Assure the accuracy of all tests performed by adhering to the laboratory's Standard Operating Procedures. Perform routine and advanced equipment maintenance.Contribute to the upkeep and safety of the laboratory and assures a clean, safe, adequately supplied work area. Maintain adequate inventories of reagents and supplies. Manage the physical environment of the laboratory following New York State DOH, Joint Commission, OSHA, and CLIA regulations.Provide direction, training, and feedback on routine laboratory procedures, as assigned.Qualifications: Bachelor's degree (Medical Technology, Biology, or Clinical Laboratory Sciences) requiredCurrent New York State Clinical Laboratory Technologist License requiredTwo years of relevant work experience in Hematology, including manual differentials and body fluid testing.Additional Info:Shift: Nights, 12am-8am, rotating weekends and holidaysLocation: CLMReports to: Jessica Bautista10% shift differential for Saturdays and night hours!Pay Range: $47.23 - $75.59FSLA Status: Non-ExemptClosing: At MSK, we believe in fair, competitive pay that reflects your job, experience, and skills.MSK is an equal opportunity and affirmative action employer committed to diversity and inclusion in all aspects of recruiting and employment.
