divh2Ready Mix Driver/h2pJob Summary The Ready-Mix Driver will be responsible for all duties of the position, including the transporting of freshly mixed concrete from the batch plant to the job site in a safe manner. This individual will be responsible for making normal operating adjustments to the equipment and material being hauled. The company also has a variety of voluntary benefits for employees to choose from./ppResponsibilities/pulliConduct daily pre-trip/post-trip vehicle inspections/liliDeliver ready-mix concrete to various job sites/liliOperate a multi-axle mixer truck safely, obeying all traffic laws/liliClean and wash vehicle to include the removal of concrete buildup on all exterior parts of the mixer/liliMust be willing to work according to customer demands/liliOperate a radio to communicate with company personnel/liliAdhere to all safety regulations including company policies, state, and federal regulations/liliResponsible for reporting all incidents/injuries to management as soon as they occur/liliAttend safety meetings as scheduled by management/li/ulpEducation/ppHigh School Diploma/GED/ppRequirements/Qualifications/pulliMust have current Commercial Class A or B drivers license with airbrakes/liliSafe driving record - no serious moving violations within the past 36 months; no more than two moving violations within the past 24 months/liliMust have a current Department of Transportation (DOT) Medical Certificate/liliAbility to read a map and understand verbal and GPS driving route instructions/liliMust have familiarity with slumps/liliGood attendance and punctuality a must/liliAbility to work in extremes of hot and cold weather/liliMust have the physical ability to: climb, stoop, bend, squat, frequently lift extension chutes (up to 60 lbs.), stretch, drive/sit and shift gears/liliAdhere to all safety regulations including company policies, State, and Federal regulations/liliMust be able to work a flexible schedule with flexible hours, hours vary; overtime work, weekends and nights, may be required/liliPreferred: Experience in ready-mix or heavy construction industries/lili2+ years of commercial driving experience/li/ulpConditions of Employment Successful candidate must submit to post-offer pre-employment physical examination, drug/alcohol screen, and background check.
