CNC Technician

Assist in setting up and maintaining manufacturing lines for fabricated aluminum products and assemblies at the Fabrication Center Program CNC machines and act as a liaison with CNC operators Study production schedules and estimate worker-hour requirements for job completion Store CNC-process tooling in good condition and maintain its inventory Maintain an inventory of spare parts required for the CNC process Produce turned and machined parts to customer specifications Lay out and write programs for prototypes and samples for machining and turning centers with short response times Set up all machines in the shop Requirements Must be able to understand and deliver basic commands in English Must be able to use and maintain all basic tools and measuring equipment pertinent to the specific position Good machining skills Good inspection skills Excellent math skills Minimum two years’ experience in CNC machining Close tolerance expertise (.002) Knowledge of tooling, including fixtures, vises, and other work-holding devices Knowledge of cutting tools, including end mills, drills, taps, and reamers Core Competencies Demonstrates expertise in CNC machining, including programming and operating CNC machines, while ensuring precision and quality in the production of fabricated aluminum products.
