Job Location: East Mesa/Baywood (Power Rd/Broadway Rd), Arizona Schedule: Monday–Friday 7:30am–4:30pm Pay Range (LevelI): $19.20–$25.00 per hour Pay Range (LevelII): $21.00–$28.00 per hour (minimum Bachelor’s degree in Exercise Physiology required) Position Summary This position performs treadmill testing in exercise treadmill, stress echocardiogram, and nuclear stress modalities and is cross‑trained to cover clinic MA rooming and back‑office testing. Essential Functions Maintain complete understanding of all treadmill testing modalities and perform testing per physician orders, TCC protocol, and IAC guidelines. Explain testing procedures to patients to ensure understanding and consent. Use critical thinking to evaluate order accuracy and request changes with ordering or supervising physician as needed. Monitor patients for physiologic symptoms during testing and report to supervising physician. Accurately enter data into Syntermed and Next Gen EHR for stress testing with ≥95% overall accuracy. Maintain supply inventory and crash cart equipment in treadmill rooms. Check crash cart, defibrillator, and EKG machine daily for functionality. Monitor schedule weekly and inform physician of changes; reschedule patient appointments promptly. Safety‑Sensitive Position This position is a safety‑sensitive position in accordance with Arizona Revised Statutes §23‑493(9). Minimum Qualifications High school diploma or GED. Medical Assistant diploma OR Associate’s degree in Cardiovascular Technology OR Bachelor’s degree in Exercise Physiology. Current BLS certification (must be obtained within 90 days of hire if not current). ACL&S certification (must be obtained within 90 days of hire if not current). Completion of a basic ECG course and basic EKG interpretation test with a minimum passing grade of 85% before training. 40wpm typing. Demonstrated critical thinking ability to resolve problems and carry out instructions. Ability to multitask. Excellent verbal communication skills that are clear, calm, friendly, and professional. Ability to effectively communicate with all internal and external customers. Manage tasks in a timely manner. Basic computer and math skills. Ability to read and interpret documents. Preferred Qualifications Previous Certified MA (advanced) experience. Certified Cardiovascular Technician. Medical Assistant registration.
