Job Title: RN: Psych
Location: Milledgeville, GA
Setting: Adult Mental Health/Psychiatric Facility
Pay Range: $1,637 - $2,046 weekly (discuss with recruiter)
Schedule: 8-Hour Night Shifts, 11:00 pm – 7:30 am (Includes rotating night shifts as needed)
Contract Length: 16 Weeks
Candidate Type: Local and traveler friendly

Requirements:

• 2+ years of experience as an RN in psychiatric or mental health settings
• Qualified applicants MUST have at least 2 years of experience in Psych
• Valid Georgia Registered Nurse license or willingness to obtain licensure in Georgia
• Willing to obtain Georgia licensure

Responsibilities:
As a healthcare professional in an adult mental health facility, you’ll play a vital role in delivering high-quality psychiatric care. Your responsibilities include:

• Accurately administering prescribed medications, including emergency medications, and monitoring for adverse reactions such as EPS
• Conducting comprehensive health assessments and developing individualized care plans based on diagnosis, symptoms, and triggers
• Performing daily resident rounds to assess physical and emotional status and implementing necessary interventions
• Responding to patient and family concerns with appropriate documentation and communication
• Serving as a shift leader and resource to staff on the unit, overseeing safety and patient care
