Blackbird Architects seeks a full-time talented, Architect / Designer to join our diverse team in our collaborative studio.
- 3-8 years experience
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Architecture
- Commitment to design excellence
- Ability to collaborate in teams on large projects and/or lead documentation of smaller projects
- Significant experience and demonstrated ability in detailing and construction documents
- Experience in leading consultant coordination
- Organizational and project management skills; ability to transition between different projects at multiple scales, ability to meet deadlines
- Experience in a variety of projects and with all phases of design and construction
- Strong design and graphic skills
- Proficiency with 2D drafting software. Working knowledge of VectorWorks a plus
- Proficiency with 3D modeling software. Working knowledge of SketchUp a plus
- Adobe software and other presentation software skills a plus
- Excellent communication skills both written and verbal
- Experience in sustainable design
- Professional work ethic essential
