Maintenance Tech is a non-exempt, full-time hourly position. Salary Range: $23.00 - $25.00 Hourly Job Overview Aids in maintaining the community to be a safe, clean, and comfortable environment by conducting routine maintenance and repairs inside and outside the community, installing and servicing equipment, and preparing apartments for resident move-ins. Responsibilities Perform a variety of maintenance repairs such as fixing faucets, replacing light fixtures, help implement safety protocols, painting, and more. Respond to maintenance requests from residents and associates. Clean and prepare apartment homes for new residents. Ensure proper storage of all maintenance supplies. Continuously monitor all areas of the community and grounds to ensure they are properly and safely maintained. Help team members set up activities and events at the community. Qualifications High School Diploma or GED 1 year hands‑on maintenance or related experience Knowledgeable of maintenance and housekeeping practices and procedures, as well as the laws, regulations and guidelines governing maintenance functions in the community Proficiency in computer skills, Microsoft Office (Windows, Outlook, Excel) with the ability to learn new applications Physical Abilities Requires frequent standing, walking, sitting, fine and gross motor skills, reaching, balancing, stooping, kneeling, crouching, talking, hearing, and smelling. Requires lifting or carrying weight up to 50 lbs. Intermittent physical activity includes lifting and supporting residents. Must use proper body mechanics.
