Accounts Receivable Staff Accountant

The job duties and responsibilities of the Accounts Receivable Staff Accountant will include, but are not limited to, the following: Post lockbox and ACH payments using the bank website and ERP (NetSuite). Scan and post checks deposits and credit card receipts. Read, decipher, and process payment remittances with superior accuracy. Inquire with customers about payment/billing differences. Invoice customers after daily shipments are complete. Validate that daily sales from external revenue applications match the ERP system. Investigate and resolve differences, if applicable. Work with sales representatives and/or customers to collect past due accounts receivable. Setup new customers in ERP. Confirm that all configurations are posting to the correct accounts. Work with the accounting team to perform other duties, including month end closing tasks. Qualifications and Requirements: Associates degree or higher in accounting. Experience working with financial software and ERP systems. NetSuite is preferred. Proficient with Microsoft Office applications. Strong Excel skills. Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Detail oriented with a strong desire for perfection. Strong interpersonal skills and ability to communicate professionally with co-workers and customers. Ability to work full time onsite in an office environment. Compensation: Commensurate with experience. Includes salary plus commission plan.
