Position Type: Full Time Pay Rate: $18.00 / Hour Job Schedule: Mon 11:00 PM - 07:00 AM Thur 03:00 PM - 11:00 PM Fri 11:00 PM - 07:00 AM Sat 11:00 PM - 07:00 AM Sun 11:00 PM - 07:00 AM What You'll Do: Provide customer service to students, faculty, staff, visitors, and/or vendors by carrying out site-specific security-related procedures, policies, and emergency response activities at an educational life sciences location. Respond to incidents, access concerns, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, following established reporting and escalation procedures. Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of buildings, laboratories, classrooms, common areas, parking areas, and perimeter locations to help identify and report unusual activity, hazards, and/or maintenance concerns. Monitor access points and visitor activity in accordance with site-specific policies, helping to maintain an orderly environment for authorized personnel and guests. Document observations, incidents, and patrol activities accurately and communicate relevant information to site contacts and Allied Universal leadership. Minimum Requirements: A valid driver’s license is required in the state where the job is located. Possess at least 5 years of security-related experience. Customer service experience is preferred. A state, county, or city issued security-related license is preferred. Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles. Possess a high school diploma or equivalent. As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
