• BCLS

• Required certification: Renal/Dialysis
• 1+ years of experience
• Key Requirements Summary: 1. Experience: Minimum 1 year required; 18 months general experience if not otherwise specified 2. Cases: Acute Care Inpatient Dialysis experience required 3. Certifications: BLS required, ACLS preferred; must be AHA or Red Cross only (RQI cards not accepted) 4. License: Active IL license required in hand at submission 5. Education: Not specified 6. EMR: Cerner experience preferred 7. Shifts/Call: 4x10s (0700-1730) + 2/3 overnight calls; every third Saturday then on call until Monday 0700; 1 hour response time; call required as needed 8. RTO: Auto-approve 5 or less non-holiday days; anything more requires facility approval; must work 2 out of 3 major holidays 9. Returning Staff: Previous perm/PRN candidates must be separated for 12 months before applying as traveler 10. Travel/Local: Locals accepted (no radius for this specialty) 11. Background: Background check hits must be noted upon submission for approval prior to offer 12. Modules: Non-billable up to 16 hours; completed pre-start; strict deadlines (4PM CST Day 1 or will be pushed) 13. Travel Experience: Not specified as required 14. Scrubs: Provided for this role 15. Flu Vaccine Requirements: Required (medical/religious exemptions only) 16. Special Equipment: B. Braun Dialog+ required Critical: Patient ratio 1:2; floating required within hospital or affiliate hospitals; must complete compliance within 1 week of signing contract; specific dialysis skills and symptom management experience required.
