Internal Medicine Physician
MedStar Medical Group II, LLC d/b/a MedStar Medical Group has an opening for the full-time position of Internal Medicine Physician based at MedStar Health Primary Care at Bauernschmidt, MD.
Job Duties:
- Provide primary and preventive care to adult patients at clinic.
- Perform physical examinations, recommend tests and procedures, make diagnoses, make specialist referrals, and recommend lifestyle and habit changes to reduce risk of illness or disease.
- Provide treatment and care to patients with chronic disease or injury.
- Make recommendations for hospital admission and possible treatment.
- Prepare written prescription orders, medications and controlled substances under Maryland and federal rules, regulations and law.
- Contribute to the achievement of departmental goals and adhere to policies, procedures, quality and safety standards.
Position requires 24/7 availability to address any acute medical issues in the hospital.
Requirements:
- Position requires a Doctor of Medicine (M.D.) degree or foreign equivalent.
- Position requires completion of 36 months of ABIM-recognized and ACGME-accredited Internal Medicine Residency Training Program.
- Position requires a valid Maryland medical license and certification (or eligibility) by American Board of Internal Medicine.

Salary Range: $200,000-$240,000 / year
