This position maintains the integrity of the organization’s supplier records, performs required supplier validations and screening, and provides timely support to internal and external inquiries related to supplier records. Pay rate: $20.41 per hour.Applicant must be eligible to work in the United States; ASU Financial Services will not be a sponsor for this position. **Essential Duties:*** Review and process new supplier records and maintain the master supplier file.* Review and determine the appropriateness of various documents related to supplier setup.* Complete daily validation of supplier taxpayer identification numbers to the IRS TIN* matching system and the Office of Foreign Assets Control System.* Review the master file to validate data accuracy and completeness.* Respond to inquiries in a timely and appropriate manner. **Desired Qualifications:*** Experience with PaymentWorks and Workday, preferably in a vendor or supplier management environment.* Demonstrated ability to communicate effectively and professionally* Experience reviewing and processing tax documentation, including W-9, W-8BEN, and W-8BEN-E forms.* Evidence of effective communication skills.* Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel and Word.* Demonstrated commitment to teamwork and collaboration, with the ability to build positive working relationships and contribute effectively toward shared goals. **Working Environment:*** Working in an office setting with computers.* Sit or stand for extended periods of time and use hands/fingers for repetitive motions.**Department Statement:**Financial Services serves the university community in a professional, accessible, customer-focused, efficient and innovative manner by timely processing financial transactions and provides accounting, financial management reporting, financial system training, and treasury management services.**Driving Requirement:**Driving is not required for this position.**Location:**Campus: Tempe**Funding:**No Federal Funding**Instructions to Apply:**Current employees, student workers seeking staff opportunities, and students applying for student worker positions must apply directly through the Workday Jobs Hub.
