Details Outpatient setting treating chronic, acute, and post-op orthopedic conditions with occasional neurological cases 5x8 day shift schedule, 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM 13-week contract length Epic EMR used for charting Requirements Minimum 1 year of physical therapy experience required BLS certification required Manual Therapy certification required PTA certification required Hand Therapy certification preferred State or Compact PT license required at time of submission, if applicable Epic charting experience required Must be able to perform lifting and patient transfers Additional Information Responsibilities include patient assessment, treatment planning, and documentation across orthopedic and occasional neurological caseloads Utilizes modalities such as e-stim, ultrasound, traction, and cryotherapy as part of treatment plans Provides home exercise programs and patient/family education First-time travelers will be considered for this role Travel pairs or groups are not accepted Candidates residing within 50 miles of the facility are not accepted Previous staff must wait 1 year before returning as a traveler All requested time off must be submitted at time of consideration, with no more than 3 days auto-approved and none during the first week of orientation American Traveler Job ID P-745907.
