Associate Director, Strategic Initiatives and Partnerships

Associate Director leading strategic initiatives and partnerships for AbbVie's Oncology Early Development group. Manages the P1PER preferred site network, drives innovation scaling efforts, oversees CRO partnerships, and chairs cross-functional programs to accelerate oncology pipeline delivery.

Responsibilities

• Lead global cross-functional strategic initiatives and innovation projects for oncology early development
• Manage P1PER preferred site network operations, performance metrics, and investigator relationships
• Drive innovation pilots to scale through program management, KPI tracking, and leadership alignment
• Develop project plans, risk mitigation strategies, and effectiveness metrics for all initiatives
• Coordinate CRO and vendor partnerships, track performance, and support partnership governance

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in scientific field or equivalent; Associate's/RN with relevant experience acceptable
• 8+ years pharmaceutical industry experience across R&D, commercial, project management, or operations
• Minimum 2 years supporting cross-functional teams in program management, development, regulatory, or operations
• Strong project management expertise in pharmaceutical drug development
• Developing leadership skills with demonstrated ability to lead global teams
• Excellent written and oral communication abilities
• Preferred: Global and regional team experience; PMP, change management, or Lean Six Sigma certification
