What we’re seeking:

• Current license to teach Special Education in Wisconsin (or eligibility to obtain)
• Experience working with students with learning disabilities, behavioral needs, or developmental differences
• Strong knowledge of IEP development, implementation, and compliance
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills with parents, staff, and other stakeholders
• Reliability, adaptability, and a student-centered approach to teaching
• Bachelor’s degree (or higher) in Special Education or a related field

Key responsibilities:

• Assess student abilities and develop Individualized Education Plans (IEPs) tailored to each learner’s unique needs
• Deliver engaging, differentiated instruction in both small group and one-on-one settings
• Work closely with general education teachers and support staff to facilitate inclusion and modify curriculum as needed
• Monitor student progress and adjust teaching strategies for optimal student success
• Communicate regularly with parents and guardians on student goals and achievements
• Ensure compliance with all state and federal special education regulations
