Schedule: 4x12 Variable shifts (Days or Nights based on facility needs at start date). 13-week or 26-week assignment options available. Guaranteed 60 hours per two-week period.

• Long-term care facility with 40 staffed beds serving patients with dementia, Alzheimer's, TBI, cognitive and physical impairments
• Nurse-to-patient ratio of 1:20
• Electronic charting system (ECS) utilized for documentation
• Comprehensive case mix including accuchecks, G-tube feedings, IV hydration, wound care, respiratory treatments, and peritoneal dialysis
• Free parking and facility-arranged shuttle transportation to and from Anchorage at contract start and end
• Flexible contract length options to meet your career goals

Requirements:

• Active Alaska RN license required prior to submission (compact license accepted)
• Minimum 1 year of Long Term Care nursing experience required
• Previous travel nursing experience required
• Current BLS certification required
• Experience with 1:20 patient ratios preferred
• Charge nurse experience preferred
• Proficiency in oxygen administration, peripheral line care, and isolation precautions/PPE
• Alaska Food Worker Certification will be obtained during on-site orientation (one-time $10 fee)
• Candidates must reside at least 50 miles from the facility
• Willingness to work at least 2 of the 3 major winter holidays (Thanksgiving, Christmas, New Year's)
• Willingness to float within scope to meet facility needs
