Job Summary:
Medical Surgical Floor (MS) registered nurse position located in Wausau, Wisconsin. This healthcare role involves providing patient care in a fast-paced post-surgical unit, with a focus on adult and geriatric patients. Candidates are required to bring their Wisconsin Registered Nurse (RN) license on the first day of duty.

Job Details:

• Location: Wausau, Wisconsin
• Required Qualifications: Wisconsin RN license, Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from the American Heart Association (AHA) or American Red Cross (ARC), minimum of 2+ years of medical surgical experience, recent hospital experience, trauma level II experience, prior travel experience, proficiency with Epic electronic medical record system, and ability to multi-task and prioritize patient care needs based on acuity.
• Schedule: Rotating shift; 12-hour day/night variables, with a minimum of 36 hours per week.
• Preferred Qualifications: Bachelors Degree in Nursing.
• Additional Information: GSA hours are not guaranteed during the week of orientation. The traveler is guaranteed set hours per week, except during holidays when the unit is closed. During flu season, travelers declining flu and COVID vaccinations are required to wear a mask at all times, adhering to mandatory organization policies.
