Insurance Risk ManagerA national commercial real estate firm based in Milwaukee, WI, is seeking an experienced Insurance Risk Manager to join its team. In this role, you will support enterprise-wide risk management and insurance programs by providing high-level expertise across a broad range of coverages. The position requires managing a complex, fast-paced insurance program and serving as a key liaison between internal stakeholders and external insurance brokerage partners to deliver best-in-class insurance solutions across multiple business units.This role involves exercising independent judgment to analyze operations and contractual obligations in the context of insurance solutions to mitigate risk. You will coordinate risk management due diligence for new locations, projects, and business ventures, lead initiatives to enhance safety and risk control programs, and maintain strong relationships within the insurance marketplace, including carriers and brokers.Key Responsibilities:Build and maintain strong business relationships through phone, email, virtual meetings, and in-person interactionsSupport leadership and operations teams with day-to-day insurance and risk management activitiesPartner with insurance brokers to execute business priorities and risk-related deliverablesCoordinate internal and external risk management processes, ensuring accuracy, timeliness, and professionalismLead the annual insurance renewal process in collaboration with leadership and brokers, including preparation of underwriting information and carrier engagementDrive improvements across insurance renewals, compliance, loss control, and overall risk management initiativesCollaborate cross-functionally with finance, operations, legal, and other departments to achieve organizational objectivesAssist internal teams, adjusters, and brokers with insurance program administration, billing, claims management, and issue resolutionPerform additional duties as assigned by leadershipRequired Qualifications:Bachelor's degree or equivalent combination of education and experience5+ years of relevant experience in risk management and insuranceStrong relationship management and communication skills, with the ability to work effectively with brokers, carriers, and internal stakeholdersProficiency in Microsoft Office Suite or similar toolsWillingness and ability to travel domestically and internationallyCompensation & Benefits:Paid training, holidays, and vacationCompany-sponsored 401(k)Comprehensive benefits package, including medical, dental, and life insuranceAdditional company perks and wellness offerings
