Position details Exemption Status: Non-Exempt Hiring Range: $23.28 - $41.90 Schedule Details: Monday through Friday Scheduled Hours: 7:30am - 4:00pm Shift: Day Shift, 8 Hours (United States of America) Hours: 0 Cost Center: 26000 - 4250 Employee Health Clinic Note: Final offer may vary within the range based on experience, skills, qualifications, and internal equity considerations. Major Responsibilities Uses nursing process to assess and plan care. Effectively performs nursing tasks utilizing policy and procedure. Functions effectively in all urgent and emergent situations. Delegates effectively. Coordinates exchange of information between staff, physicians and administration. Position Qualifications License/Certification/Education: Graduation and training from an accredited school of nursing with current license by the Massachusetts Board of Registration in Nursing (BORN). American Heart Association or equivalent Basic Life Support (BLS) certification for health care providers required upon hire or during orientation. Experience/Skills: Preferred: A minimum of one year of general medical-surgical experience. Unless certification, licensure or registration is required, an equivalent combination of education and experience which provides proficiency in the areas of responsibility listed in this description may be substituted for the above requirements. Department-specific competencies and their measurements will be developed and maintained in the individual departments. The competencies will be maintained and attached to the departmental job description. Responsible managers will review competencies with position incumbents. Experience in Occupational Health, Community Health, or Medical Office preferred. Computer proficiency (Microsoft Office) required. Excellent customer service skills.
