Job Title: Firearms Assembly Technician Job Description

This role focuses on performing small-parts, final assembly of firearms by accurately putting together all components of the product. You will work on a high-volume production line, using mechanical assembly techniques, hand tools, and power tools to build quality products that meet strict standards. Success in this position requires strong attention to detail, the ability to interpret blueprints, and a proactive, team-oriented attitude in a modern manufacturing environment.

• Perform small parts final assembly of firearms by accurately assembling all components according to specifications.
• Ensure all products meet established quality standards throughout each step of the assembly process.
• Utilize mechanical assembly techniques, including the use of hand tools and power tools, to complete assigned tasks efficiently and safely.
• Interpret and follow blueprints and assembly drawings to guide the assembly process and verify correct component placement.
• Inspect parts and assemblies for defects or inconsistencies and perform basic repairs or adjustments when needed.
• Maintain a clean and organized work area to support safety, efficiency, and product quality.
• Work on a high-production assembly line, meeting daily and weekly output goals while maintaining accuracy.
• Collaborate with team members and support a positive, team-oriented work environment.
• Follow all safety procedures and guidelines related to tools, equipment, and firearm assembly.
• Adapt to mandatory overtime requirements, including occasional Saturday shifts and extended daily hours when needed.

• Minimum of 1 year of experience in a production or manufacturing environment.
• Basic mechanical aptitude with the ability to understand how parts fit and function together.
• Experience with mechanical assembly or parts assembly in a production setting.
• Proficiency using hand tools and power tools safely and effectively.
• Ability to interpret and work from blueprints or assembly drawings.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to producing high-quality work.
• Reliable work ethic, consistent job tenure, and a positive, go-getter attitude.
• Ability to stand on your feet for the full shift and work at a sustained production pace.
• Comfort working on an assembly line with high production numbers.
• Demonstrated ability to work well in a team environment.

• Previous firearm assembly experience is a plus.
• Experience in mechanical assembly, production, or repair work is beneficial.
• Strong character, professionalism, and a positive attitude toward learning and growth.
• Willingness to train on first shift for 26 weeks before moving to assigned shift.
• Flexibility to work mandatory overtime, including some Saturdays and extended hours at the end of shifts.

You will work in a brand-new, state-of-the-art, temperature-controlled manufacturing facility on a high-volume assembly line. The role requires standing on your feet for the entire shift and working with mechanical assembly tools in a fast-paced production environment that emphasizes teamwork and collaboration. Available schedules include 1st Shift (MondayFriday, 6:00 a.m. to 2:30 p.m., with mandatory overtime typically one Saturday per month) and B Shift (MondayWednesday, 7:00 p.m. to 7:30 a.m., and Thursday, 7:00 p.m. to 3:30 a.m., with training on 1st shift for 26 weeks). Overtime opportunities are available, including Saturdays and staying over one hour at the end of shifts. Shift differentials apply for designated manufacturing shifts, and the environment is structured, safety-focused, and team-driven.

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Ellabell, GA.

The pay range for this position is $21.00 - $22.50/hr.

Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors.
