Field Reimbursement Manager

About the Role AbbVie is hiring a Oral Migraine Field Reimbursement Manager (FRM) to provide in‑office support for HCPs in the assigned territory. This field‑based role requires living within a reasonable distance of the primary city. Eligible cities include Memphis, TN and Little Rock, AR. Responsibilities Educate HCPs on patient support programs, including access and reimbursement tools and services. Educate on product‑specific acquisition and access options such as specialty pharmacy networks and distribution. Provide local expertise regarding national and regional payer policies to educate providers on payer issues, coding changes, and appropriate claims submission processes. Liaise with AbbVie’s Access and Reimbursement support center to update HCPs on Rx status and program eligibility. Report payer trends related to approved products to Patient Services and MHC account management teams. Establish and maintain relationships with appropriate providers within the territory. Remain current on key managed care, reimbursement, and policy activities. Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in health, sciences, pharmacy or business‑related field preferred or relevant and equivalent industry experience required. 3+ years of experience in a specific therapeutic area with experience in Managed Health Care, Payer Account Management and/or Access and Reimbursement and excellent territory and account management skills. Extensive experience educating others on payer processes, coverage requirements, and access‑related situations for specialty medicines. Strong track record of leadership within the current role and ability to communicate technical elements of coding and billing requirements at the national and regional level. Comprehensive understanding of Parts A, B, C & D or Medicare and associated reimbursement dynamics. Strong understanding of drug acquisition and dispensing in the specialty area (specialty pharmacies, distributors, white‑bagging, etc.). Demonstrated understanding of rules, regulations, and risks associated with reimbursement support services. Strong understanding of access and reimbursement support service centers and how to interact compliantly. Valid driver’s license, pre‑employment drug screening clearance, safe driving records, and ability to drive a personal or company vehicle. Ability to satisfy all applicable HCIR credentialing requirements and maintain them in good standing. Compensation and Benefits The compensation range described below is the base pay range that the company believes in good faith.
