American Traveler is hiring a Med/Surg Tele RN for a night shift IMC MedSurg unit position requiring a TX or compact RN license and prior related nursing experience. Details IMC MedSurgical unit within a hospital setting Full time night shift, 7:00 PM to 7:00 AM 13-week assignment Shift: Nights, 3x12hrs Hours: 36 hrs/wk Start Date: Oct 5, 2026 Openings: 1 Actual start date is typically 3-4 weeks from time the offer is received. Start dates are determined based on facility needs and credentialing requirements. Length: 13 weeks Requirements Active RN license (TX or compact) required BLS and ACLS certification required (AHA only) BSN preferred 1 year of experience in a related nursing specialty preferred Additional Information Provide nursing care using the nursing process including assessment, diagnosis, planning, intervention, and evaluation Administer medications and treatments and monitor for side effects and effectiveness Document patient history, symptoms, medications, and care provided Assess learning needs and provide education to patients, families, and caregivers Complete new hire competency validations including MedSurg-specific skills with a preceptor Must reside within 50 miles of the facility Candidates who have worked at any CHRISTUS facility (non-travel) must be separated for 6 months prior to starting a travel assignment Pay Pay Overview $1,888/wk Assignment Total (13 Weeks) $24,545 Annual Equivalent (52 Weeks) $98,179 Weekly Breakdown Weekly Wages $648/wk Regular Hours $18.00 x 36 hours/wk = $648 Weekly Stipends $1,240/wk Lodging $109.15 x 7 days = $764 Meals & Incidentals
