Overview:

We are seeking dependable and detail-oriented Layout Technicians to join our client's production team. This role is responsible for laying out and mechanically assembling electrical back panels and enclosures by accurately interpreting blueprints, taking precise measurements, and preparing components for the wiring department. The ideal candidate is mechanically inclined, enjoys hands-on work, and takes pride in producing quality work with a high level of accuracy.

• $22.00 to $24.00 hourly

What you'll do as a Layout Technician:

• Read and interpret layout drawings, blueprints, and bill of materials (BOM)
• Measure, mark, and lay out electrical back panels according to engineering drawings
• Drill holes, trace layouts, and prepare panels for assembly
• Install DIN rail and wire duct components onto back panels
• Inspect and verify all required parts against the bill of materials before assembly

Skills and Experience:

• Experience in interpreting blueprints and layout drawings
• Mechanical inclination
• Hands-on manufacturing experience
• Attention to detail
• Ability to work with precision and accuracy
