This is your opportunity to work in a small, community-oriented setting where your skills will directly enhance the lives of diverse patient populations. **Job Description:** - **Role**: Occupational Therapist - **Specialty**: OT Acute Care Hospital - **Shift**: Day Shift; 5x8-Hour (08:00 - 16:30) - **Experience**: 1+ years preferred - **Travel**: Required **Key Responsibilities:** - Provide exceptional care in acute settings, helping patients with acute and chronic disorders - Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to develop and implement effective treatment plans - Conduct assessments and evaluations to monitor patient progress - Utilize standardized assessment tools including FIM - Educate patients and families on safety, injury prevention, and care strategies - Engage in functional activities to enhance patient independence **Preferred Skills:** - Experience with Adult and Pediatric Rehabilitation - Knowledge of specific conditions: Amputee, Arthritis, Coma Management, CVA Rehabilitation - Ability to perform assessments and create comprehensive plans of care - Proficiency in infection prevention and fall risk assessment techniques **Patient Demographics:** - Focus on adolescents, adults, and geriatrics - Engage with a variety of diagnoses, ensuring a broad spectrum of care **Additional Skills:** - Strong communication for patient/family education - Effective in lifting and transfer techniques **Why Catalytic Solutions (CatSol):** At CatSol, we connect dedicated therapists with rewarding assignments across the country.
