Job Description
Registered Nurse (RN) / Emergency Dept

The Registered Nurse is responsible for delivering patient care to individuals in the Emergency Department. This role involves utilizing the Nursing Process in accordance with state Nurse Practice Acts and established policies and procedures.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide high-quality care to Emergency Room patients by applying critical thinking and scientific judgment.
• Demonstrate leadership in the planning and delivery of safe patient care.
• Maintain clinical competencies through continuing education and professional development.
• Delegate patient care priorities based on the education and experience of available staff.
• Provide direction and supervision to assistive personnel delivering patient care.

Qualifications

• Active nursing license as per state regulations.
• Registered Nurse with a minimum of two years of clinical experience, including experience in an Emergency Department.
• Demonstrated ability to perform under stress and in emergency situations.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
