Immediate need for a talented Surgical Technologist. This is a 13 Weeks contract opportunity with long-term potential and is located in Chico, CA (Onsite).

Compensation Pay Package: Please reach out for further discussion and negotiation. Regular Pay: $19/hr Weekly Housing & Meal Stipend: $ 1,059.10/weekly Weekly Per Diem: $608 Weekly Gross Pay: $ 1,895.10 (subject to completion of scheduled hours)

Key Responsibilities:

• Prepare operating rooms with surgical instruments, equipment, and sterile supplies.
• Maintain a sterile field and adhere to infection control standards throughout surgical procedures.
• Assist surgeons, registered nurses, and anesthesia providers during operations.
• Anticipate the needs of the surgical team and ensure instruments and supplies are readily available.
• Perform instrument counts before, during, and after procedures.
• Clean and restock operating rooms following each case.
• Float to the outpatient Same Day Surgery Center when required.
• Accurately document patient care using EPIC EMR.

Key Requirements and Technology Experience:

• Minimum of 1 year of recent hospital experience as a Surgical Technologist or graduation from an accredited Operating Room Technician program.
• Current BLS/CPR Certification required.
• Experience in an acute care hospital operating room preferred.
• Ability to work varied shifts, including weekends and holidays as scheduled.
• State license not required.
• Facility: Level II Trauma Center
• Primary Unit: Inpatient Main OR
• Float: Outpatient Same Day Surgery Center as needed
• EMR: EPIC
• Bilingual: Not required
• No on-call requirement
