Seeking: Voter Registration & Customer Service Specialist Location: Houston, TX Pay: $22.00 – $25.00 per hour (based on education/experience) Schedule: Monday–Friday | Shifts ranging between 7:00 AM – 7:00 PM Weekends & Overtime: Based on project needs Employment Type: Full-Time | Temporary (6–8 weeks with potential extension up to 39 weeks) Launch Your Administrative Career Openwork is hiring Voter Registration Research & Customer Service Specialists to support the Harris County Tax Office during the upcoming election season. If you have strong customer service skills, a sharp eye for detail, and want to support vital community elections, this is an excellent opportunity to put your administrative talents to work. Responsibilities Research and clean up voter registration rolls across multiple databases and public records Cross-reference voter information to ensure data accuracy and compliance Answer high-volume inbound phone calls from registered voters regarding registration status and details Process voter registration applications and address updates Utilize Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook, Word, Excel) for data entry, logging, and tracking Maintain accurate records and adhere strictly to county confidentiality guidelines Qualifications High School Diploma or GED required (Bachelor's degree preferred for advanced $25/hr research roles) 1+ year of professional customer service or administrative experience Minimum typing speed of 35 WPM (Testing required) Bilingual fluency in Spanish, Vietnamese, or Chinese is a strong plus Excellent verbal communication and interpersonal skills Strong computer proficiency and attention to detail Reliable attendance, punctuality, and dependable work habits Why Join Openwork?
