Role Description The Physical Therapist – Bishop Arts role is a full-time, on-site position based in Dallas, TX. This role is responsible for providing pediatric physical therapy services to children in the Bishop Arts area, including evaluating motor function, developing individualized treatment plans, and implementing evidence-based interventions to support mobility, strength, and developmental progress. The Physical Therapist collaborates closely with families, caregivers, nurses, and other therapists to coordinate care and educate them on home exercise programs, safety, and adaptive strategies. Daily activities include documenting assessments and treatments, monitoring progress, adjusting therapy plans as needed, and ensuring services align with KidsCare Home Health standards and regulatory requirements. The role also involves participating in interdisciplinary case discussions and contributing to a supportive, child-centered care environment. Qualifications Strong foundation in Physical Therapy and Rehabilitation, with experience in pediatric settings preferred. Knowledge of Medicine and clinical best practices relevant to pediatric therapy and developmental conditions. Demonstrated skills in Patient Care, including compassionate, family-centered communication and education. Experience or readiness to provide Home Care services, with the ability to adapt treatment to diverse home environments. Current licensure as a Physical Therapist in the state of Texas, or eligibility to obtain licensure prior to start date. Ability to work collaboratively within an interdisciplinary team and manage a consistent full-time caseload. Strong documentation, organization, and time-management skills, with attention to regulatory and ethical standards.
