RN - Perinatal Educator - Outpatient Classes

RN - Perinatal Educator of our Outpatient classes for expecting and new parents at Providence St. Jude Medical Center in Fullerton, CA. This is a Per-Diem position that will work 8-hour Day shifts to include weekend rotations for classes held on weekends. Flexibility to work weekends and different days throughout the month is needed due to classes being scheduled based on patient needs. Our Labor and Delivery unit has 17 beds and offers 24-hour on-site OB anesthesia, OB triage, OB operating rooms and high-risk antepartum care. We deliver approximately 185 babies per month. Required Qualifications:

• Graduation from an accredited nursing program.
• Upon hire: California Registered Nurse License
• Upon hire: National Provider BLS - American Heart Association
• 1 year Nursing experience.

Preferred Qualifications:

• RN experience working in Maternal / Newborn Services
• BLS Instructor certification through American Heart Association or to be

obtained within 6 months of hire.

• IBCLC Certification
• Childbirth Educator certification or to be obtained within 6 months of hire.

The successful candidate's placement on the wage range for this position will be determined based upon relevant job experience and other applicable factors.
